Everything you need to get your DS-6637 alarm clock running perfectly — from unboxing to advanced settings, explained simply and clearly.
Before you begin, open your package and check that all items have arrived safely:
Your clock supports two power methods. Both work perfectly — it simply depends on where you plan to place it.
Plug the included USB cable into the port on the back of the clock, then connect to any standard mobile charger or USB wall adapter. The display lights up immediately.
Open the battery compartment on the back. Insert 3 AAA batteries, carefully matching the + and − markings inside. Ideal for placement without a nearby power socket.
The clock uses five buttons on top: S, +, −, SNOOZE, and a ⏰ clock icon button. Follow these steps in order:
💡 Most Indian users prefer 12H format.
Your clock has two display modes. Switch between showing time only, or a cycling view that rotates between time, date, and temperature.
How to switch: On the normal time screen, long press the + button to toggle between the two modes.
The clock has 5 manual brightness levels. There is no auto mode — you choose the level that suits your room.
How to adjust: On the normal time screen, short press the SNOOZE button repeatedly to cycle through all 5 levels.
By default, your clock displays temperature in Celsius (°C). You can switch to Fahrenheit at any time.
Your clock has two independent alarms — perfect for different family members, or a main alarm with a backup a few minutes later.
| Code | Frequency | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| d-7 | Every day (daily alarm) | Daily morning wake-up routine |
| d-5 | Saturday & Sunday only (double weekend) | Weekend-only alarms |
| d-6 | Saturday only (single weekend) | Single day routine |
The alarm pauses briefly and rings again shortly after. Use this for a few extra minutes of sleep.
Hold the SNOOZE button for 3 seconds to completely turn off the alarm and move to the next alarm state.

If using batteries: Re-insert all 3 AAA batteries ensuring + and − match the markings inside the compartment. Try a fresh set of batteries if yours may be low.
If you want a permanently-on display, switch to USB power instead.
1. Alarm is ON: Tap the clock icon button and confirm it shows AL-ON (not AL-OF).
2. Correct frequency: Make sure d-7 (daily), d-5 (Sat & Sun), or d-6 (Sat only) matches today's day.
3. Correct time: Verify hour and minute are right. In 12H mode, AM/PM must also be correct.
1. Short press SNOOZE to manually cycle brightness down to L-01 (dimmest) at any time.
2. Enable Night Mode: Re-enter setup (long press S) and at the final step (Step 8), select S NO. The display will then auto-dim between 22:00 and 06:00 every night.
