How to Power On the Clock

Your clock supports two power methods. Both work perfectly — it simply depends on where you plan to place it.

🔋
Method 2 — 3 × AAA Batteries

Open the battery compartment on the back. Insert 3 AAA batteries, carefully matching the + and markings inside. Ideal for placement without a nearby power socket.

Note: In battery mode, the screen turns off after 10–16 seconds to save power. Hold down any key to light it up again.
ℹ️
The auto-off in battery mode is by design — not a defect. If you prefer an always-on display, USB power is the better choice.

Common Problems & Solutions

Having trouble? Most issues have a simple fix. Tap any problem below to see the solution:

!
The display is not turning on at all
If using USB: Check that the cable is firmly plugged into both the clock and the charger. Try a different USB adapter — the clock requires DC 5V.

If using batteries: Re-insert all 3 AAA batteries ensuring + and − match the markings inside the compartment. Try a fresh set of batteries if yours may be low.
!
The display went blank after a few seconds
This is completely normal in battery mode. As per the manual, the screen turns off after 10–16 seconds to conserve battery. Simply hold down any key to light it up again.

If you want a permanently-on display, switch to USB power instead.
!
The clock is showing the wrong time
Long press S for 3 seconds to re-enter setup and correct the time from Step 1. Also verify that 12H or 24H is set correctly — selecting the wrong format can make the time appear 12 hours off.
!
The alarm is not ringing at the set time
Check three things:

1. Alarm is ON: Tap the clock icon button and confirm it shows AL-ON (not AL-OF).
2. Correct frequency: Make sure d-7 (daily), d-5 (Sat & Sun), or d-6 (Sat only) matches today's day.
3. Correct time: Verify hour and minute are right. In 12H mode, AM/PM must also be correct.
!
Temperature is showing in the wrong unit
On the normal time screen, long press the − button for 3 seconds. This toggles instantly between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Long press again to switch back.
!
The date or month is showing incorrectly
Long press S to enter setup and step through using the S button until you reach the Month and Date fields. Correct them with + or −, then press S to save. The clock exits automatically after the final confirmation step.
!
The display is too bright at night
Two options:

1. Short press SNOOZE to manually cycle brightness down to L-01 (dimmest) at any time.
2. Enable Night Mode: Re-enter setup (long press S) and at the final step (Step 8), select S NO. The display will then auto-dim between 22:00 and 06:00 every night.
!
The display only shows time — not date or temperature
Your clock is in Time Only mode (mode ①). Long press the + button on the normal time screen to switch to Cycle Display mode (mode ②). The display will then rotate between time, date, and temperature automatically every few seconds.
